When Ken and Ralph were dreaming up the collection and shoot concept for the Weekender launch, they wanted to bring some fun into fall. Daily Drills has always been inspired by holes in Ken and Ralph’s own closets, and at the top of their wishlist this year were pieces that would combine happy summer sets and functional fall styles. Enter: the knit cardigan and poplin short sets. With a restock of our viral Boxer Super Shorts and Cropped Sleeve Crew, this collection would be a smooth entrance into a new season.
Instead of opting for traditional fall colors for the pieces, they decided to go bold with bright colors that still transcend the seasons. With vibrant yellows, blues, reds, and whites (yes, you can still wear white after Labor Day!), the collection ended up with an undeniably playful feel that unanimously reminded Daily Drills of one person: Hailey Polk.
